A Brief History...Mark Simpson formed Off The Record in Kendal in 1994 with the prime objective to offer high-class live entertainment for the club and private function scene.
As the years progressed the bands profile has changed along with the line up to the most professional outfit to come from the northwest. This change has become obvious due to the sheer wealth of mouth-to-mouth feedback being received, which leads the band to start taking on bigger more prestigious events and now are in high demand for corporate and high society events.
Having played for Thornton’s, GMTV, BBM ltd and most of the large companies in the North-west the band set it’s sights on providing quality live music for the growing market of lake district weddings, providing event entertainment to some of the most prestigious hotels in the area.
Using a combination of good music, lighting and the correct style for each occasion the band soon set up a winning presentation, which has won them high acclaim across the North West.
